Hi, my name is Rizky Fitria Hakim, but my family and friends called me by my nickname, Kiki. I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. In March 1995, at age 19, I moved to the United States to study at California State University in Hayward. I graduated from CSUH in June 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Graphic and Multimedia with 3.6 GPA. I also took photography for my minor because I love it so much. After getting my degree from CSUH, I enrolled at the Academy of Art College to pursue Master's degree. Before I start, I took almost a year off to travel around the world. May 24th 2003, was one of the happiest days in my life because I walked on my graduation commencement for my Master of Fine Arts degree in graphic design major from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco (the school became Academy of Art University in 2005). I have been working as a freelance graphic designer and photographer since 1994, and seeking for a job as a full time graphic designer or working in advertising industry. Also, on May 22nd 2003, I won the Hallmark Award for Design Excellence at the Academy of Art spring show on MFA graphic design portfolio night. It was a surprise for me and I was happy because I consider that as a gift to my parents who support me all this time. My passion are travelling, home decor, photography and of course, design. My plan after finish school is to go back home to my country, Indonesia, and work in the fields that I really feel passionate about. In late September 2003, I finally moved back to Indonesia for good. After few months of adjusting and enjoying my new life in Jakarta, I began to look for a job. In March 2004, I started to work in a graphic design firm called Nuage as a Sr. graphic designer. Right now I am working in JWT, an advertising agency in Central Jakarta as an Art Director since August 2004. The picture on the left was taken in 1994. I was biting my lips because I was thirsty :-) It was hot that day in Jakarta....
